Out of hours
For urgent medical advice or in case of an emergency outside our regular hours, the practice is part of a rota run by local GP's (DubDoc). This is located in the outpatient department of St. James's Hospital.

You should inform DubDoc that you are a patient of Mercer's Medical Centre.
Please see below the opening hours for Dubdoc over the Christmas and New Year Period. Outside of these hours patients will have access to the remote GP service as normal (it finishes at 8am midweek and operates 24/7 over weekend and Bank holidays i.e. 25th, 26th, 28th, 29th, 1st).

Fees for the above services are payable directly by the patient, unless you hold a valid medical card.
These services keep us informed by sending a medical report to us after your attendance. This information is then transferred to your own personal electronic medical file in the Practice.
