We are committed in our efforts to provide healthcare for the sick and needy of Dublin, honouring the legacy of the founder of the Mercer Hospital, Mary Mercer.
Mercers Medical Centre was opened in 1990 as a GP practice on the site of the old Mercer’s Hospital. Our premises have been recently renovated and the practice is the largest in Dublin city centre.
Mercer’s Medical Centre is a Primary Care Research Practice for the Irish College of General Practitioners and we participate in the training of student doctors and in the specialist training of future General Practitioners. We are active advocates for positive change in our health services.
